The Ask:
Devise a year-long plan to promote Corona's core marketing pillars: The Island, Sunsets, Wellfest, and Always On Influencer collaborations.
The Spark:
Corona beer is renowned for its crisp, refreshing taste, made from 100% natural ingredients. Corona is synonymous with the beach, sunny beer gardens, and summer. The Jailbird team devised a year-long campaign to position the brand as Ireland's first choice for ages 25-35-year-olds to consider their lager of choice when out socialising with pals and family members in the pub and at home.
The Solution:
We used the creative marketing pillars as inspiration to devise a year-long campaign focusing on key activations and events to create brand awareness and stand out.
We:
Strategically selected two key influencers who embodied the brand's lifestyle to work with us for a year on key activations.
Invited key influencers to the Wellfest Corona Cero area to enjoy all the brand had to offer on-site and promote the brand's key messages.
Worked on a strategic influencer partnership that promoted The Corona Island on-trade activity over the Summer months.
Invited and hosted key influencers and media at the Sunsets events in Opium in Dublin.
The Impact
The campaign is ongoing but initial results are very successful. To date, we have reached over 652,000 through both earned and paid-for media.
